Locally, Washtub Posies is gaining a following. As of April, I now have 7 who fell in love with it and decided to make it their own. Way to go girls! PS this quilt is still in NY with Blue Hill Fabrics.
This quilt features beautiful 1930's reproductions from Blue Hill Fabrics, a fusible medallion with Press & Peel applique, and authentic 1930's Kansas City Star patterns from original newspaper clippings! The pattern will also give you some glimpses from that bygone era in every pattern. As you can see, many of the blocks will have set in seams. Don't be scared!! I will teach and guide you with close up diagrams and step by step instructions. You will be a master and set in seams will be a breeze for you......what a beautiful way to learn!!!
I am happy to machine quilt your top for you. I cannot accomodate anything larger than 90" at this time. That will change in the coming months!

Farewell Best Friend
It is with sad hearts that our family has said farewell to a much loved member of our family. Sir Slater Greystone ( Slate ) was laid to rest on January 17, 07. Best Friends Are Forever - Until We Meet Again...
