Step One
Place the pattern piece sheet pattern side up. Place the Steam a Seam or other bonding paper, paper side up on top of the pattern piece sheet. Trace the pattern pieces exactly. Make sure to trace the dashed lines exactly along with the pattern number and fabric shade if included. Ex. L = light, M = Medium etc...
Step Two
Cut out pattern piece leaving an approximate 1/4" allowance around entire piece. Do not cut on any line at this time.
Step Three
Fuse traced and cut piece onto the wrong side of chosen fabric.
Step Four
Cut fused pattern piece from fabric, again allowing a 1/4" inch for ease of handling.
Step Five
Place the dressmaker's tracing paper carbon side up. Place the pattern piece fabric side down. trace the dashed lines only, as carefully as you can. All you need here are marks to guide the placement of following pieces. They do not need to be too dark or heavy, just accurate. I suggest a sharpened or mechanical pencil or a dry pen.

Step Six
Peel the paper backing from the fusible paper.
Step Seven
Place a light colored paper or piece of fabric on the ironing surface. place the releasable guide shiney side up so you can read the numbers easily. Press if necessary with a low iron. Fuse the correct pieces in numerical order. Follow the dotted and solid placement lines to help in perfect placement. Press in place with a low iron.
Step Eight
When all the pieces have been fused and you're happy with the results, let cool a few minutes. If something needs to be moved, just heat the piece with a low iron, move piece then replace. Finally, peel the entire rose from the releasable guide. This is the fun part!
